The Foundation began its work on the second floor of the Ana Maria daycare center in the Versalles neighborhood of Cali. Since then, we have been working together with the ICBF, Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).<strong>nce we are the only institution authorized to carry out adoption processes<\/strong> in southwestern Colombia.<\/p>\n\t<p>During the<strong> year 2013<\/strong> the <strong>Chiquitines Adoption Center<\/strong> merges with the<strong> Fundaci\u00f3n Ayuda a la Infancia Hogar Bambi<\/strong>work initiated by <strong>Rupert Spillmann<\/strong> and the<strong> Fondation Aide Aux Enfants Foyers Bambi<\/strong> in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The new <strong>Foundation Ayuda a la Infancia Hogar Bambi Chiquitines<\/strong>In addition to its work for the protection of children in vulnerable situations and the adoption program, the program also focuses on family strengthening and community work.<\/p>\n<h2  data-animation-delay=\"0\" data-animation-duration=\"1\">\n\t\t\t2013\t<\/h2>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tMerges\t<\/h2>\n<h2  data-animation-delay=\"0\" data-animation-duration=\"1\">\n\t\t\t2020\t<\/h2>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tChiquitines Foundation\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>At the beginning of <strong>year 2020<\/strong>in the aftermath of the pandemic of <strong>covid-19<\/strong>the <strong>Fondation Aide Aux Enfants<\/strong> the decision to dissolve, withdrawing from Cali and from the Foundation, to become <strong>Chiquitines Foundation<\/strong>. We are strengthening our positioning as a pilot protection center, adjusting to the alternative care guidelines of <strong>United Nations<\/strong>as well as the<strong> only IAPA in southwestern Colombia<\/strong>It is also a family strengthening center, aimed at families with children under protective measures and families in high-risk and vulnerable contexts.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tOur purpose\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Contribute to the strengthening of the family system and its community contexts, so that they guarantee the effective enjoyment of the rights of children in vulnerable
