Prevention

At the Chiquitines Foundation we are convinced that true protection begins with the transformation of the adult.

Unlike traditional models that intervene when harm is already a reality, we seek to mitigate and prevent situations of violence and abuse by intervening in the beliefs that legitimize these practices as a form of parenting, promoting more nurturing, loving and safe environments.

Our purpose is to work in co-responsibility with the state and society to guarantee the fundamental right of every child to grow up in a conscious, loving, protective and respectful family.

We work to transform every home into a safe place, where violence and abuse are replaced by a culture of conscious care, ensuring that no child has to be separated from his or her environment to feel protected.

How do we do it?

Through a methodology of experiential learning based on encounters  experiential and reflective accompaniment, We invite the adult to reflect on his or her own parenting history, to question the normalization of physical and emotional punishment, and to develop the emotional skills necessary to respond with tenderness and respect.
